Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2025
Hi! I'm Antonio, and this is my personal blog. I write about my work, projects, and things I find interesting. The content I share here is for informational purposes only and provided "as is," without any guarantees. You're welcome to read, share, or learn from it, but please don't misuse the material or present it as your own. I also take privacy seriously. I don't want mine collected unnecessarily, and I treat yours the same way.
What's collected here
- If you join my newsletter: I'll ask just for your email address.
- When you visit the site: my hosting provider (Fly.io) automatically logs basic info like your IP address and browser type for maintenance and security reasons (e.g. prevent abuse). My web also uses your IP address to limit usage and prevent abuse.
- Analytics: I use Simple Analytics, which doesn't collect personal data or use cookies. It just helps me see how many people visit my blog and which pages are read.
Why I collect any of this
- To send you the newsletter if you sign up.
- To keep the site running safely and understand what content people enjoy.
Who sees your data
Just me. For emails, I use Resend, a GDPR-compliant email service that securely stores subscriber info. For IP addresses, I never see them, the server automatically uses them to limit usage and prevent abuse. I do NOT sell, share, or trade your data with anyone.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime (there's a link in every email).
If you ever want your data removed or want to see what I have, just email me at hello@antonioreche.me. I'll handle it personally.
How long I keep things
- Newsletter data stays until you unsubscribe.
- IP addresses are only kept for a short period of time to limit usage and prevent abuse.
- Server logs are automatically deleted by Fly.io after a short, transient period (see Fly.io docs for details).
